DMCA Policy

Effective Date: August 10, 2025

Cinecorp (www.cinecorp.com.ng) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy to respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our website.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on our site, please notify us by providing our designated agent with the following information in writing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the website (please provide a URL).

  3. Your contact information – including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Cinecorp will remove or disable access to the infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the content provider, member, or user who posted the material.

If you believe that your removed content is not infringing, you may send us a counter-notice containing the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the content that has been removed and its location before removal.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Cinecorp will restore the removed content if the counter-notice is valid and the original complainant does not file court action within the time period allowed by law.

Repeat Infringers:
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Cinecorp has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
